King's Economics & Finance Society is hiring!

We are looking for ambitious students to join the largest finance society on campus. We accept applications from both undergraduates and postgraduates from all years of studies and degrees!

​

We require an updated CV and a 100 word answer outlining your motivations for joining EFS in your selected role as well as why you consider yourself to be a suitable candidate. You are allowed to apply to a maximum of 2 departments . Please make sure you make a separate application for each! Successful applicants will be contacted by email and invited for an interview!

MARKETING

Photography/Videography Associate 

​

  • Capture high-quality content that effectively document the proceedings, key moments, and participants for ALL events

  • Manage photography and videography equipment to ensure optimal performance and readiness for on-site event coverage

  • Collaborate effectively with event organisers and teams to understand the specific requirements and objectives of each event, providing visual assets that exceed expectations

  • Previous experience in professional event photography or videography highly preferred

EVENTS

Banking & Markets Associate

  • Assist with the origination, coordination, and execution of Banking & Markets related events

  • Liaise with the Co-Heads of Banking & Markets to address any requirements

  • Innovate potential event ideas to continually improve the society’s offering to our members

  • Build your connections within investment banking, sales & trading, and equity research via outreach and the chance to lead interviews with top speakers

  • Outreach to top investment banks and elite boutiques such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Evercore, Centerview Partners, and many more!

SOCIAL EVENTS

General Associate

I

  • Commit to expanding the reach of the society through facilitating collaborations with a wide range of societies, internal and external to the King’s network

  • Take a creative approach to event planning, considering the latest trends to maximise the success of the event

  • Communicate with multiple departments within EFS to make sure the event planning up until execution is smooth

  • Pay close attention to detail when considering the logistics of an event, remaining adaptable to unexpected challenges

CORPORATE RELATIONS

General Associate

  • Manage and collate a list of relevant firm contacts across IB, PE, VC, and AM for sponsorship outreach

  • Develop our sponsorship brochure by bringing in creativity and out of the box thinking

  • Liaise closely with Co-Heads of Corporate Relations by helping the department exceed fundraising benchmarks

  • Exceptional communication skills and very strong sense of ownership and initiative
